A friend sent your article to me. I love it. I pay it forward at fast food drive thy’d and Starbucks by buying the next car or two their orders. I do it in restaurants by picking up the tab for another table. I never reveal who I am. I just hope with what ever they are dealing with it helps them to look at their circumstances a little lighter. Have a blessed life.

Master wood carvers and turners, artistic porcelain creations, jewelry made from rare stones, local artists paintings and photography, hand made realistic dolls. Sherry Darling owns the store and absolutely will not have copies of anything inthe store. Has to be the original. Top shelf establishment.

I rolled the dice when I googled how I was feeling and seeing things for the truths. I am forty four in great shape youthful face. I dress to the nine even when I don’t feel like it. I never knew it would be so lonely nor would I be in a club that I googled to find answers or people like me. If I knew at 20 years of age that I only had twenty years to catch a man and marry. I feel beautiful and look amazing WTH…is wrong with men in there 40′s and why are they not interested in women our age?? Feeling that only God and family is seeing me.

I am starting a mentoring program where professional women mentor women who have not been given the opportunities in life that some of us have been given. All of these women are pregnant, they find themselves in the lowest economic level of our society and most if not all are uneducated.
My hope is to bring up their self esteem, expose them to educational choices, and guide them into a better way of life for themselves and their child (children). If you could suggest articles that I could read I would appreciate it.

This is a fantastic article.

I would like to add to this sentence ” I was once asked: if an organization could teach only one thing to its employees, what single thing would have the most impact? My answer was immediate and clear: teach people how to learn. How to look at their past behavior, figure out what worked, and repeat it while admitting honestly what didn’t and change it.” That organizations need to show and encourage their employees to do this.

I’m reminded of the old adage: “Do as I say, not as I do” when we all know that others follow our actions and not necessarly our words.

As leaders and mentors we get to do this and then share our experiences with those we mentor or lead.

OK ladies, Wow- did I need to get the “M&M’s”. I am so appreciative for this article.
I felt like I was failing! Laid off twice in the past 3 years and losing my “Hutzpah”.
But now I just want to “TRY your M & M advise” & recreate myself. Maybe finally find the right new carreer path for a 55 year old (still sharp woman I will become again)! I really believe I can be back on the road to “again being on top” after your inspiration!
